The Crystal Tooth psychodynamic approach: A new perspective on your teeth and mouth

In this article, I want to communicate the idea behind The Crystal Tooth approach and some of this method’s key concepts. It is a methodology that I have devised to help people connect the symptoms they experience in their mouth with their body organs and tissues, their emotions, and their behavior patterns.

The Crystal Tooth Psychodynamic Approach:

My purpose is to help you better understand various conditions that are limiting you from living the life you desire and to heal your symptoms.

Our teeth and gums participate in the vital functions of our body, and the symptoms they present give us information about how we were raised and received care and love. They speak, often in a dramatic way, of our traumas, experiences, and choices throughout our lives.

When, during our treatment, we use the dental symptom as a guide to investigating the deeper causes of our disease, we will discover a path that often leads us to painful situations.

If we learn to manage our traumatic experiences with lots of love, patience, and acceptance, we relieve and heal the condition and, simultaneously, our whole selves.

The methodology I develop through my sessions and consulting guidance are based on my many years of experience in holistic dentistry and my continuous education, among others, in energy medicine, psychodynamic diagnostic approach, trauma management methods, and the method of Systemic Constellation  Therapy.

I cover some key concepts during my sessions to help understand the factors that affect our oral health.

Archetypal roles and character

According to the theory of color psychodynamics (Color Psychodynamics by Mark Wentworth), I study the archetypes that appear in the mouth and give information about the character of the person and about the pathologies he presents.

Connecting teeth and body

Using Dr. Voll’s theory (systemic regulation medicine), I connect the teeth to the tissues and organs of the body and, in this way, bring to light the body’s disharmonies and internal connections.

In the human body, everything is connected and constantly interacting. This fact occurs through the internal connections of the nervous and circulatory systems and the network of meridians (acupuncture energy channels) that run through the body.

Any blockage in the movement of energy at an acupuncture point located in the area of a tooth affects the flow of energy throughout the body because, as we know, everything is connected. The corresponding organ (e.g., intestine, lung, or liver) or tissue to which the tooth is attached reacts to this blockage, causing symptoms.

The theory of acupuncture and the cycle of the five elements of the transformation of the energy of everything complements and gives more information about the situation one faces in their body and mouth.

TREATMENT OF TRAUMA MANAGEMENT IN THE ORAL CAVITY

Association of dental symptoms with traumatic experiences

Almost all of us can remember bad events from childhood or adolescence.

Trauma leaves scars. It is an open psychological wound that affects the personality and attitude towards life, relationships, and body creating symptoms.

The shock and stress of trauma can cause many changes in the body’s biochemistry resulting in various symptoms such as high blood pressure, stomach problems, headaches, depression, panic attacks, chest pain, a lump in the throat, numbness and tingling, as well as teeth and gum problems.

Trauma is not the actual event that happened to us but the interpretation we gave and how we experienced it internally. It is not the loss of a loved one, a health problem, or a disaster. It is the way the child’s psyche processed it and the internal processes that took place at the particular age that the traumatic experience occurred. Therefore, it can change and take on a new meaning.

Through awareness of the trauma, the process of healing and repair begins, which also affects the success of dental treatment.

Awareness and change of behavior patterns in our body and teeth

Patterns of behavior are repeated behaviors and ways of acting, which every person adopts unconsciously at a very young age. They make them feel safe and secure because they unconsciously know how to manage and cope with a situation.

This situation includes the behavioral patterns of our body, that is, how it functions.

More specifically:

  • How it adapts to the environment, how it defends itself with its immune system?
  • How it enables nutrition and the functioning of the gastrointestinal system?
  • How do the teeth participate in all the vital functions of chewing, swallowing, and breathing but also in speech and communication?
  • How do the teeth align, change position, rotate around their vertical axis, crowd, and have inflammation, swelling, and pain?

But what if we realize that our behavior patterns are not beneficial but harmful to our body and psyche? How can we change them?

Even when we recognize some of our toxic repetitive behavior, we are still reluctant to change it. We may want change, but we are afraid to do so. Overcoming the fear of the unknown can seem like an insurmountable obstacle. The truth is that overcoming our fears is a purely personal process. Most of the time, we need acceptance, love and constant encouragement, and support for real change to begin.

Recognizing problematic behavior patterns is the first step in addressing them. After this awareness, it is easier to make choices about our future behavior.

The dental symptom and family relationships

During our sessions, I use Systemic Constellation Therapy to explore the dental symptom through family relationships and dynamics. It is a counseling and therapeutic intervention method applied to human relationship systems by specially trained counselors. It expands the awareness and self-awareness of individuals and facilitates rearrangements, giving opportunities for relief and change in each person’s life.

Systemic Constellation Therapy allows us to examine all kinds of connections – relationships that exist in a family, a group, an organization, and our body. We can study the organs of our body, their symptoms, the medicines of homeopathy, and many other cases.

As a process, it focuses on the solution and restores the ranks of love in our family system and our bodies. In this way, it leads us safely to appropriate treatment.

The Crystal Tooth holistic approach opens new horizons in dental treatment. It treats the dental symptom as part of a more extensive system that is our entire organism in connection and relationship, with dynamics and potential to change and transform. This facilitates healing and relieves man on all levels of his being.

You can experience the Crystal Tooth approach and discover the healing journey of your teeth and gums through a personal session or by reading my books.

I will be glad to work with you,
