Show me your mouth, and I’ll tell you who you are

The dynamics of family relationships inside your mouth

My health is a choice

The mouth is a space, a cavity. It is a field of action within which we express our existence, a part of a larger space of our organism.

Our body has its language of communication, which is the embodiment of all those emotions and behavioural patterns that have been imprinted on us and result in psychosomatic symptoms and pathological conditions.

Our body always expresses our psycho-emotional state. It can manifest feelings we dare not recognize and push away or forbidden thoughts that fill us with guilt. It can symbolize parts of ourselves and our personality that we have never been in direct contact with.

Many of these pieces are hidden in the memories and experiences of the first years of our lives. All our experiences are stored and reside in our bodies.

Care-seeking and family relationships

From infancy, the man tries to satisfy his innate need for emotional contact,  by seeking care and emotional security from his parents and the first people who take care of him, which reflects in his body.

From a very early age, each of us develops specific ways of emotional connection-bonding that are more or less secure. This way of connection repeats him in all the critical relationships in his later life and his body, thus determining his vital functions (nutrition and breathing) and how his tissues and organs work.

Our experiences growing up, our relationships with our caregivers, and the nutrition and care we received all affect our bodies and teeth.

After all, our first relationships with those who took care of us have a lot to tell us about, how we seek, receive and give love in our adult relationships.

By learning to manage and heal the traumas of our fetal, infantile, childhood and adult lives, we will understand how dramatically they affect our health.

The systems of family relationships in the holistic approach to dentistry

Systemic Constellation therapy according to Hellinger, complements the holistic approach to Dentistry. It is a vehicle that transports us with tact and significant penetration into the ranks of love as they manifest in our life and existence in our body. Hierarchy, proper place, belonging, give and take, and respect are the orders of love in our bodies and family.

Our body is a unique system. So, like any system, it has a class with its principles and rules. Every violation of its regulations brings disorder, dysfunction and pathological symptoms to the functions in its tissues and organs.

More specifically, in our mouth, from the symptoms that appear, we get a lot of information about our internal organs. We learn how they charge and react to strong and persistent emotions and work together for our overall health. We also gain important insights into how tissues connect, creating relationships to serve and enhance life.

Clearance: From old to new

Like any space, our body needs care to be functional, clean, pleasant, welcoming, and livable.

In addition to the past imprints of our body, there is also the future. We should consider what we want and desire to live in the future. So how ready and cared for is this body to receive and welcome them?

We may need moments of relaxation to feel, and listen to each part of our body separately and the totality of our being.

Healing frees us from impasses of stagnant and heavy energy and helps us reconnect with what has been separated, forgotten, or blocked in and around us.

This reconnection also brings restoration to the system of relationships through acceptance, understanding, respect and forgiveness. Harmony and restoration return to our body, internal organs, and family. By taking seriously the message our mouth sends, there will be no reason for it to knock on our door again with symptoms and discomfort.

Restoring the ranks of love is as if the entire universe is working with us for balance, coexistence, acceptance, abundance, connection, health and wholeness.
